Le Fan (Teresa) Xiao

Teresa is currently a PhD student in the Department of Psychology, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, under the supervision of Prof. Ying-yi Hong. She received her MSc in Social and Cultural Psychology from the London School of Economics and Political Science and her BA in Psychology from Wellesley College.

Teresa is interested in the social-cultural identity of bicultural individuals, especially in a time of socio-political transitions. She is then interested in distinctiveness threat and the intergroup conflict between two very similar sociocultural groups.​
