Dominic  Amstutz

Dominic is a PhD candidate at the Department of Sociology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong under the supervision of Prof. Jaemin Lee and Prof. Ying-Yi Hong. He previously studied sociology, social work, and psychology at the University of Bern and University of Fribourg in Switzerland. 

 

Dominic is interested in how social networks emerge, reproduce, and change over time. Culture comes into play in how social relations are formed by symbolic boundaries drawn among subjects and how social relations serve as channels through which meaning can spread in societies.
