Yee-Man Branda YU

Branda is currently a postdoctoral fellow under the supervision of Prof. Ying-Yi Hong in the Department of Management at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research explores identity issues, family relationships, sleep and circadian misalignment, and mental health of young adults.

She earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Hong Kong in 2024, where her doctoral research examined how the 2019 social unrest in Hong Kong shaped young adults' relationships with their parents, with a particular focus on political disagreements within families and their impacts. Prior to her Ph.D., Branda worked on research projects related to sleep and mood disorders, using randomized controlled trials.

Branda’s current work adopts experience sampling and longitudinal study designs to investigate how socio-political influences shape personal and familial well-being. She’s happy to connect and is open to potential collaborations.
