Dian is currently a PhD student in the Department of Psychology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, under the supervision of Prof. Ying-Yi Hong. Before joining the lab, she received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in psychology from Beijing Normal University.

She is mainly interested in environmental psychology. Her research focuses on how personal factors (e.g., materialism, future orientation) affect people’s pro-environmental attitudes and behaviors. She also aims to understand how people respond to serious environmental problems (e.g., air pollution, natural resource scarcity) from different perspectives.
