William is currently working as a postdoctoral fellow in the Culture Lab headed by Prof. Ying-Yi Hong. Before joining the lab, he received his Ph.D. in Social Science from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
His major research interests include pro-environmental behavior, cultural influence, and goal theories. He adopts a person-context interaction approach to examine the interplay between personal factors and sociocultural factors in determining environmental attitude and behavior. His research has been published in the Global Environmental Change, Environment and Behavior, and Journal of Environmental Psychology.
