Echo is currently a Ph.D student in Marketing Department, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is under the supervision of Prof. Ying-Yi Hong.
With the background of social psychology, Echo is interested in how social factors, such as social class, social inequality and social mobility, will influence consumers' decision making and real purchase behaviors. She is also accumulating research experience in fields of scarcity, moral judgment and behaviour, and sexual objectification.

By exploring the above topics, Echo aims to understand how people, especially those at disadvantaged position, make decisions and behave. She also wants to apply these findings to real world, thus helping people overcome their disadvantages and increase well-being.
